Shen & Bones Performance Group presented an evening of dance-theater featuring choreography by Lani Fand Weissbach, with additional choreography by Sondra Fraleigh.
The Program:
un-earth(returning) performed by company members Alethea Bodine, Keegan Boulton, Sara Lawrence, and Doug Lodge, with sets by Karen Dodson's Windy Vestibule Productions and live music performed by David Blaetz (acoustic bass), Rick Lopez (percussion) and Joseph Allen Popp (guitar).
When I Say I Love You. Lani and Robert Bingham, a performer/choreographer based in Rochester, NY performed this original duet created by Sondra Fraleigh.
Burning a mysterious duet exploring the dark part of the subconscious mind, performed by Lani and Elizabeth Spadafore
A General Theory of Love. A wacky and humorous glimpse of the pitfalls of love and courting, performed by the company.
Waking Woman/Messy Beauty, a new solo Lani created and performed, with text by Daria Fand, costumes by Charmaine Koehler-Lodge and an original soundscore by Joseph Allen Popp. Sets were designed by Karen Dodson's Windy Vestibule Productions.
