An evening of dance-theater featuring choreography by Lani Fand Weissbach and original music by local musicians in Erie and Meadville. Original text written by the performers.
The Program:
• Anima, a 35-minute dance that offers a provocative look at the essence of the female psyche as it manifests in the dark, subconscious feminine principle, the male view of the feminine, and the everyday lives of women.
• Jane's Story, a piece that explores both the vulnerability and tenacity of Everywoman struggling to make sense of her existence in today's world. This piece was updated following its premiere in the "Reflections of Eve" concert, May 1999.
Modern Day Fugitive, a humorous, melancholy portrait of an ordinary guy who discovers a way out of his mundane existence.
• Terrain of Memory, a mysterious journey through a shadowy landscape of loss and hope, struggle and liberation.
