New Works/Upcoming Performances

Lani Fand Weissbach is committed to continuing to create, perform and share dance-theater with other artists and the community. The following is a brief description of a few of the projects in the works for Shen & Bones Performance Group:

Luther Memorial Church

Sunday, February 12, 2006
Shen & Bones Performance Group will present a short program for their premier at the Luther Memorial Church, Sunday, February 12 from 10-10:30 a.m.  The first piece, “Between Stillness and Motion” is a purely physical dialogue between moving and still bodies interwoven with sound and silence.  The piece will feature live music by David Blaetz, Gannon Communication Arts professor, who will be playing the acoustic bass violin.  Also on the program will be “Strange Heroes”, a piece that blends dance and theater in a humorous look at our most basic human hopes and struggles.  A great way to start your Sunday!
